Here's your chance to see the faces behind the voices. We are very proud of our staff of Experts who do such a great job of meticulously managing your 1031 exchange.

At The 1031 Exchange Experts, Elaine is responsible for coordinating, administrating, and completing documentation activities for reverse and construction exchanges. Always excited to serve clients, Elaine is the follow-through person that many speak with during the course of their exchange process.

Elaine and her husband, John, have 3 grown children and are enjoying being first-time grandparents.

With a heart for service, Elaine has overseen various volunteer and non-profit projects. Her current goal is to obtain funds or materials and coordinate the efforts of individuals in building wheelchair ramps for disabled, whose income falls below poverty levels.

As a member of Trinity United Methodist Church Elaine volunteers with local missions and with Project Linus. Her hobbies include making stained glass windows, bicycling, sailing, and anything outdoors.

Ann Marie Griffin Administration Dept.

Ann Marie works for The Experts in their Administration department, and assists with all personnel issues such as insurance, payroll, hiring and termination, performance reviews, and communication through company culture. Originally from Mesa, Arizona, she has worked in medical offices as an Operations/Personnel Manager, and as an assistant marketing director for an insurance group. Ann Marie earned her BA in Education with a business minor from Arizona State University, and has been a Colorado resident since 2005.

She and her husband, Colby, have two marvelous daughters and sons-in-law, and four outstanding grandchildren. She says, "The grand kids are what drew us to Denver! We came here so we can spend time with them and speak into their lives." Ann Marie loves gardening, reading, and just being with her family.

She is very involved with Jubilee Fellowship Church in Lone Tree. Colorado, where she volunteers with their Welcome Center, a mentoring group with young women, missions, a dinner group, and serves as a small group leader.

Her goal is "To make a difference, finish well, and leave a legacy of love for our children and grandchildren."

Cindy Larsen Client Trust Administrator

Cindy is the Client Trust Administrator for The Experts since 2002 and is in charge of all client trust monies transactions. She obtained her BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and is proficient in a number of accounting software programs. She is also a Notary Public, a member of the Notary Society, and is in the 1996 edition of Who's Who for Accounting. She brings 22 years of accounting experience with her to The Experts, including 12 years financial in local government and 5 years as an auditor.

Cindy has volunteered in the past as a Victims Advocate, Rape Crisis Counselor, and a Family Crisis Counselor, and enjoys Bowling, Co-ed Softball and Reading.

James hails from Los Angeles where he earned an AA degree from El Camino College. Afterward, James acquired a degree in Filmmaking and a Fine Arts degree in drawing and painting from San Francisco State University. When graduating cum laude in 1993, James was on the National Dean's List. Prior to working with the 1031 Exchange Experts, James' professional background included commercial illustration, graphic design and web animation and development.

James is a member of Highline Community Church and enjoys playing music, camping, good cigars (as opposed to bad cigars), great jazz ('Bird, Navaro, Monk, Blakey, Diz, virtually any musician named 'Sonny,' et.al.) and embarrassing his beautiful wife, Allison, and four crazy children: Morgan, Raina, Ian and Blake (12 and under).

Linda Welty's voice is the first you hear when you call The Experts, as she is responsible for directing phone calls, directing mail, and generally trying to keep everyone happy :) A Colorado resident since 1990, Linda originates from Indiana, but grew up in Southeastern PA.

Linda managed the growing independent-living retirement community, "Casa del Sol" in southeastern Colorado for 10 years, and has also worked in hotel guest services, and as a receptionist in the Goshen College admissions office in Indiana. Linda occasionally gets to serve as worship leader for their congregation, Glennon Heights Mennonite Church, and sometimes volunteers at 'Ten Thousand Villages,' a retail store selling crafts from artisans in over 30 developing countries.
