Phillip M. Ladd

Phillip consults with his clients primarily about reverse, construction and improvement 1031 exchanges, and helps them understand the accounting and tax implications. Before joining The Experts in 2005, he was in public accounting for 10 years, practicing both auditing and tax preparation. A graduate from Colorado State University with a BS in Accounting, he was also a senior auditor, tax manager and accounting manager with companies such as KPMG Peat Marwick, Ladd/Eads & Associates, and Christian Living Communities that owns and operates retirement living facilities.

A Colorado resident off and on since 1974, Phillip originally hails from Florida, but has also lived in Maryland, and served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in England. He has been married since 1986 to his wife Kathleen, and together they have four kids: Cody 17, Elizabeth 14, Jackson 5, Chance 3.

When he has time, he enjoys golf, fly fishing, and reading. He also volunteers with the Young Men's program at church, and the Boy Scouts of America. He says his "Number one goal is striving to be the best husband, father, and person I can be."
